What is Pepper Mart?
Pepper Mart is a membership-only grocery site built to help low- to mid-income families buy more affordable groceries. We are currently running a limited Beta Pop-Up for the Tishrei season. The goal of Pepper Mart is to offer the basic groceries at a cheaper price. The cheaper we source them the cheaper we list them!
How do I become a member?
Apply through the membership form. There is an income chart on the form, allowing you to see the income limits. Our team reviews each application and, once accepted, you will receive a membership code that unlocks the shop for you.
Do I need a membership code to shop?
Yes. Pepper Mart is membership-only during the Beta. After you are accepted, sign in to place orders at shop.peppermart.com.
Where do you deliver?
During the Tishrei Beta Pop-Up, we offer free local delivery in Crown Heights/East Flatbush area, on orders over $100.
Are supplies limited?
Yes. The Beta has limited stock that rotates based on availability and season. Items may sell out, so we recommend ordering while products are in stock.
Are you adding more foods to the site?
Yes, over the next month or so we will be adding more items to the list. We launched prematurely, and will be working on the site over the next month.
Will you carry all kinds of foods and various brands?
With our goal to be an affordable place for your basic food needs, we plan on stocking the store with a limited assortment of groceries, hopefully covering family basics.
Can I request an item to add?
Sure, reach out to us to request an item for us to source. If it meets customer needs and we can source it for a good price, we are happy to add.
Can I share my membership code?
Memberships are intended for accepted households only. Please do not share your code with others.
